If fans rewatched a key scene from season one, they would see a man take on the role of .

As viewers who have watched from the very beginning will know, Beth Dutton (played by Kelly Reilly) has had a fear of horses since she watched her mum get crushed by one when she was little.

But Walker took it upon himself to try and get Beth over her fear and back in the saddle.

While she did eventually jump back on, not long after riding, Beth fell off the horse but was thankfully unharmed.

It’s very common for stunt doubles to take over the more dangerous moments in the drama like this one, but it was a little less usual for

In an episode of the official Yellowstone podcast, entitled The Secrets Behind the Stunts, Teeter actress Jen Landon and Jimmy star Jefferson White spoke of their favourite.

White spoke highly of his lookalike Bobby Roberts who has “played Jimmy for as long as I have”, according to the 34-year-old actor.

The mention of Roberts then prompted Landon to talk about an early Yellowstone scene which the stunt double unexpectedly got involved with at the last minute due to an injury on set.

“One of my favourite Bobby Roberts stories is that besides doubling you..”, she began.

“Beth falls off a horse, I think in season one, the gal who doubles me, Lindy Gorham, was doing that stunt.

“She fell off the horse, her hand got broken that day, the horse stepped on it, she had to go to the emergency room.

“They needed to get the shot off and they were looking around at a group of people and the person who was most height and colouring appropriate is Bobby Roberts.

“So when Beth falls off the horse, that is the same person that doubles Jeff.”

Yellowstone is sadly coming to an end with the network announcing last year that season five would be its last.

The first half of the fifth outing came out in early 2023 but filming had to be delayed because of the actors and writers’ strikes.

An official start date hasn’t been announced, however, it has been confirmed new episodes will begin to air in November 2024.

“I was so confused and insecure. Because I thought I was beautiful. So many people told me I was beautiful. Who am I? I feel like a vase shattered across the ground, and left there in the alleyway. A chandelier that was cut from the ceiling, and then all the people left the house. I can’t imagine on this day, what it would feel like to recover. Am I allowed to be this sad? Am I allowed to lay on the ground in a heap and wail? I want to have hands again, and legs. I want to smile. I want to believe that I can. But again, I want to be sad for the rest of time. I want to wear my sadness in long strands. I want to lay on the ocean floor and weep stalactites. For a hundred years. A tree has fallen onto my chest. The sky is spinning, and it won’t slow down. I don’t want to feel any of this.” A excerpt of an untitled essay from NIGHTBIRDE The NIGHTBIRDE book “Poems for the dark” should be available for presale soon.
