However, despite often turning heads on the red carpet, the Hollywood star, 33, has managed to keep her love life incredibly private.

Little is known about her mystery man Kristian Rasmussen, whom she was  by Daily Mail Australia in November 2022.

But while the award-winning actress keeps her love out of the spotlight by walking red carpets alone, it seems Kristian isn't above sneaking into prestigious events to support her.

While Elizabeth walked the red carpet as per usual, she hinted during her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress that Kristian was in the crowd.

'Thank you so much. Thank you to the creatives of this show for trusting me with this part, to our cast and crew, to my beautiful pretend children, to my mom and my dad and Kush and Tommy who are in Australia, hoping that they're in their pajamas watching this,' she began.

'My partner Kristian who said don't thank me so that I'm not on television but I'm gonna thank you anyway. Who else? Goodness, maybe that's it… this is just astonishing to me!'

Just a few months earlier, as she celebrated the series five launch of drama  in November 2022.

Weeks after they were first spotted together, the talented star was seen leaving the red carpet premiere at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane with Kristian.

The couple were making their first red carpet appearance and their second in as many days having previously ventured out hand-in-hand just the day before.

Dressed in an elegant black evening gown, Elizabeth climbed into the rear of a waiting cab with her boyfriend after attending an after-show party.

Kristian looked appropriately dapper in a black tuxedo and matching dress shirt as he followed her into the back seat.

The previous day they were hand-in-hand during a shopping trip in London, with Elizabeth seen laughing with her new boyfriend as they enjoyed a hug and a kiss.

In February last year, the lovebirds put on a cosy display as they stepped out in London yet again, wrapped up against the cold as they took a romantic stroll.

Despite rising through the ranks of Hollywood for her starring role in The Crown, which earned her Astra, and Golden Globe awards, Elizabeth has successfully kept her love life with Kristian private.

Elizabeth often takes to the red-carpet in glamorous looks as she attends events, but that doesn't mean she's arriving alone, as Kristian often manages to sneak inside

In 2018, the rising star, who first broke onto the scene in 2014 for her award-winning role in The Great Gatsby, told Vogue Australia about her desire to remain private.

'I've always been a private person. I feel like the thing I want out in the world is my work and I've always believed - and it's the way I approach my work - that me and the work are separate,' she said.

'I think that people with social media can blur it so beautifully, and I respect that, but it's not really how I am and I just want the work to speak and people to receive it the way they will without anything influencing it.

'

She finished by saying: 'I just want people to know me for my work.'

“I was so confused and insecure. Because I thought I was beautiful. So many people told me I was beautiful. Who am I? I feel like a vase shattered across the ground, and left there in the alleyway. A chandelier that was cut from the ceiling, and then all the people left the house. I can’t imagine on this day, what it would feel like to recover. Am I allowed to be this sad? Am I allowed to lay on the ground in a heap and wail? I want to have hands again, and legs. I want to smile. I want to believe that I can. But again, I want to be sad for the rest of time. I want to wear my sadness in long strands. I want to lay on the ocean floor and weep stalactites. For a hundred years. A tree has fallen onto my chest. The sky is spinning, and it won’t slow down. I don’t want to feel any of this.” A excerpt of an untitled essay from NIGHTBIRDE The NIGHTBIRDE book “Poems for the dark” should be available for presale soon.
