The actress’ work has been recognized by several prestigious award events that were held recently including The Golden Globes and the Critics Choice Awards. She was nominated in the Best Actress category in both events. The Oscar nominations were announced minutes ago and shockingly Robbie is nowhere to be seen in the Best Actress category.

This is pretty surprising as the Oscars seem to have taken a different route with who or what they decide to nominate. Fans of Robbie and the film will surely be infuriated with the Academy’s decision to omit the actress from the category.
Interestingly, Leonardo DiCaprio is also not seen in the Best Actors list despite being nominated for other awards. The Academy certainly made some bold decisions for their nominations.
