Season 14 of “Blue Bloods” has certainly taken longer than fans would have liked. But the show’s final season is sure to go out with a bang, and a fan theory has already been validated ahead of its February 16 premiere.
According to TV Line, the “Blue Bloods” Season 14 premiere, titled “Loyalty (Part 1),” will be about:”Jaime infiltrates a lethal human trafficking ring.”
Danny and Baez are investigating a death linked to Danny’s former partner, Darryl Reid (Malik Yoba). Also, Frank is undecided about openly supporting Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh) on a policy choice, and Eddie is determined to teach a juvenile shoplifter a lesson.
”
Due to the distinctive appearance of Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) on set in December 2023, fans speculated about an undercover narrative for him. It’s reassuring to know Jamie didn’t get a tattoo as part of a mid-life crisis, but is instead attempting to bring some cr1minals to justice.
This isn’t Jamie’s first time going undercover. During a Season 2 arc, he takes on a new persona to infiltrate a cr1me family, but things go wrong when he kisses Bianca Sanfino (Mara Davi).
Nothing like that should happen this time, especially since he’s married to Eddie (Vanessa Ray).
What More Might Blue Bloods Season 14 Premiere Synopsis Reveal?
Given that the “Blue Bloods” Season 14 premiere is titled “Part 1,” one might conclude that certain plot aspects will be carried over into the next episode.
It stands to me that Jamie’s infiltration of a human trafficking network would necessitate another episode to close things up, especially since the rest of the Reagans should be kept busy.
Working a homicide investigation with Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) is nothing new, but the twist that it ties back to Darryl is intriguing.
He appeared on “Blue Bloods” before in Season 6, Episode 10 – “Flags of Our Fathers.”
Darryl was not only Danny’s previous colleague, but he also got himself into a lot of problems when he planted evidence on a suspect in a case. His misery appears to be following him around. Given that this is the final season of “Blue Bloods,” his reappearance may herald the appearance of additional characters from the show’s history.
The return of Jackie Curatola (Jennifer Esposito) in the Season 13 finale hinted to this. Who knows what additional shocks await us?
The plots for Frank (Tom Selleck) and Eddie in the “Blue Bloods” Season 14 premiere sound consistent with their usual antics.
However, it is unknown what Erin (Bridget Moynahan) will do. Fans will only need to watch CBS on February 16 to see the whole image.
