has faced an 'awkward' exchange as he attended an art exhibition that also saw his ex brother James Haven and father Jon Voight.
Brad attended a small gallery exhibition in Beverly Hills alongside his girlfriend and friends, which was also attended by Angelina's relatives. Others attending the art exhibition noticed the 'awkwardness' and even though both parties 'acknowledged' each other they appeared to keep their distance.
The run in with his former in-laws comes as the actor is currently embroiled in a messy divorce with his ex wife Angelina, which has been ongoing since the actress filed for divorce in 2016.

An insider told : "Plenty of people noticed how awkward it was that Brad was in the same room as Ange's family, and it's not a big space. I'm told James was amicable and acknowledged Brad, but I didn't see them talking, they were mostly stood apart for the duration of the event speaking with friends."
Angelina is known to have a tumultuous relationship with her father, who has previously shared well wishes for Brad after the pair split. However her brother James is very close to her, and often looks after the showbiz couple's three biological and three adopted children.
James has previously revealed to co-host Jessica Entner about the level of support he's offered to Angelina during her divorce as he said: "That's where it all started, it started with the protection of her and her children — my nieces and nephews. I set my life up so I can be present with whatever the situation. I want to be there for them or for her — whatever she's going through."
The awkward exchange comes as Brad is reportedly "walking on eggshells" around his ex-wife as he wants to introduce his new girlfriend to meet the children he shares with Angelina. Brad shares six children with the fellow actress, three are adopted - Maddox, 22, Pax, and Zahara - while three are biological - Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.
