Emmas Stone answered that she had gone to see 3 of Swift's performances so far before her Poor Things co-star, actor Mark Ruffalo, joked that he could see a picture of Stone at the concert in the image of Swift that was projected on the show's TV screen.
Norton continued the barrage of questions about Taylor Swift and asked Stone how they met, to which she recounted that they met when Swift was 17, and she was 18 at an awards show.
Stone then added that what was unique about the first night of Taylor Swift's Eras tour was that the first show she attended was in Phoneix, Arizona, her hometown, and that famed dancer Mandy Moore, who was the choreographer of Stone's 2016 film La-La Land, was also Swift's choreographer for her tour.
Graham Norton continued the conversation by mentioning one of
Taylor Swift's songs, "When Emma Falls In Love";Norton then awkwardly asked Stone if she was the inspiration behind the famous song.
Stone appeared briefly uncomfortable at the question before evading it by saying he would have to ask Taylor Swift about it.
Norton was slightly taken aback and joked that he figured he would ask her while she was there on the show as the audience laughed tentatively.
Norton then told himself to shut up and move on from what had become an awkward line of questioning.

While Swift has not commented on who "Emma" is, it is unlikely that she will, at least not any time soon, as the talented songstress is famous for leaving the people she writes her songs a secret.
