President isn't on the ballot for the Democratic primary in  on Tuesday but there are signs of him everywhere thanks to his supporters who have amassed a massive write-in campaign on his behalf.

Biden opted not to file his candidacy after the Democratic National Committee said the state was violating its rules by holding its primary ahead of South Carolina's contest, which the party deemed would be first in the 2024 primary cycle.

That means Biden's name is not listed among the 21 appearing on the New Hampshire ballot, names that include Rep. Dean Phillips and Marianne Williamson, both of whom are running strong campaigns in the state.

Democratic State Senator David Watters and other Biden supporters in the state decided to take matters in their own hands – and possibly save Biden some embarrassment – by making sure he wins the contest anyway.

'We really needed for the folks in New Hampshire, who have strong support for Joe Biden, to have a way to express that with a write-in campaign,' Watters told DailyMail.com.

They've been a busy bunch. They formed a super PAC to raise funds for their effort. They've held rallies and bonfires and sign wavings. They've brought in top Democratic names – including Senator Cory Booker and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries – to rally the faithful to Biden's side.

The goal: to remind Democrats that Biden can get their vote.

Voters just have to write Joe Biden's name at the bottom of the ballot and fill in the oval next to that slot.

Their efforts will continue through Election Day. And more Biden supporters will be on hand to help them out. Rep. Ro Khanna will be in Dover on Sunday to rally the faithful. The state AFL-CIO is using its union might to get out the message.

Supporters have been an enthusiastic bunch, tweeting photos of themselves and friends waving signs reading 'Write in Joe Biden.' The movement even has a hashtag: #writeinBiden!

After all, even though Tuesday's results are nonbinding, political prognosticators will judge it as a measure of Biden's support among his own party.

A weak showing - particularly against Phillips or Williamson - would be more bad news for president who faces a weak approval rating and concern from many Democrats that, at 81, he's too old to run for another term.

President Joe Biden opted not to file his name for New Hampshire's Democratic primary to be in solidarity with new party rules

The decision by the DNC to move overturn tradition and given the first contest of the year to South Carolina, the state that helped Joe Biden win the presidential nomination in 2020, has

'It's safe to say in New Hampshire, the DNC is less popular than the New York Yankees,' state Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley has been going around quipping.

But New Hampshire scheduled its primary first anyway, noting it has a state law requiring it maintain its first-in-the-nation status.

As a result, the DNC declared none of the delegates elected on Tuesday will count toward a candidate getting the party nomination.

It was Biden who which handed him his first primary victory in the 2020 process. That year Biden placed fifth in New Hampshire with only 8 percent of the vote.

Even though some hard feelings remain, many New Hampshire Democrats want to see Biden do well in their state.

'Democracy is under threat and I think people can look to the state really, on both sides, Republicans and Democratic side as well, saying that we did a service to the country in having a primary,' Watters said.

'For Democrats, being able to write in Joe Biden, it really means something. That we're trying to do this for the president, what's still possible in our country, that people are ordinary folks who get together and cast their ballots.'

Some voters expressed worry that a massive write-in campaign could delay vote tallies and, ultimately the final results.

Marianne Williamson also has been campaigning hard in New Hampshire

But Secretary of State David Scanlan, whose office oversees elections, told a panel at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College on Wednesday, that he does not expect the results will be significantly delayed due to the expected write-in votes.

'Most places have ramped up traditional help, so I don't think it will take that long,' he said.

“I was so confused and insecure. Because I thought I was beautiful. So many people told me I was beautiful. Who am I? I feel like a vase shattered across the ground, and left there in the alleyway. A chandelier that was cut from the ceiling, and then all the people left the house. I can’t imagine on this day, what it would feel like to recover. Am I allowed to be this sad? Am I allowed to lay on the ground in a heap and wail? I want to have hands again, and legs. I want to smile. I want to believe that I can. But again, I want to be sad for the rest of time. I want to wear my sadness in long strands. I want to lay on the ocean floor and weep stalactites. For a hundred years. A tree has fallen onto my chest. The sky is spinning, and it won’t slow down. I don’t want to feel any of this.” A excerpt of an untitled essay from NIGHTBIRDE The NIGHTBIRDE book “Poems for the dark” should be available for presale soon.
