has slipped into radio rival Mick Molly's DMs.

The KIIS FM star, 48, revealed she had tried to mend bridges with the Triple M presenter, 57, over Instagram during her Friday morning breakfast show.

Jackie explained she'd reached out to Mick after he fired back at her claims he looked 'lonely' while dining alone at the same Sydney restaurant as her earlier in the week. 

'All I wanted to do was explain why I didn't say hi [at the restaurant]' said Jackie. 

However Molloy didn't respond, leading her co-host to quip about the pair's recent feud, 'you've upset the apple cart there.'

Sandilands then enquired, 'would you go on a date with Mick?'

'He's funny, yeah,' Jackie conceded. 'He's great, Mick. He's a good guy.'

The attempt at an olive branch comes after Molloy took a swipe at his radio rivals after they mocked him for dining alone.

The Triple M radio host told listeners on his breakfast show Mick & MG In The Morning that the KIIS FM hosts called him 'lonely' and 'a tragic figure'.

Admitting he's often seen on his own around

, whether it be eating at restaurants or going to the cinemas, Mick said he was 'rocked' by the comments.

'I'm genuinely hurt that they would take a crack at me like that,' he told his co-host Mark 'MG' Geyer and Cat Lynch.

However Molloy didn't respond, leading her co-host Kyle Sandilands to quip about the pair's recent feud, 'you've upset the apple cart there'

The radio station played back Jackie describing her run-in with Mick with Kyle, and how she saw him 'sitting on his own at a table' in a restaurant.

'Did you say, 'Hi, Mick!'?' Kyle asked, to which Jackie answered, 'No. He had his head down...'

'Unbelieveable,' Mick said after listening to the audio, before taking a few quips at the blonde radio queen.

'Yes I was on my own! Jackie O, she walked past. She's been stalking me for years.'

'I wouldn't mind her diet tips. They could come in handy,' he added, referencing Jackie's recent weight loss. 'I guarantee you she would have been mentally undressing me... Which, by the way, takes a while.'

In 2020, Mick revealed he's single and quietly hoping for a woman to slide into his DMs.

The former Channel Nine star, who is the proud father of twins boys Fred and Lenny, 11, claimed he 'hadn't completely given up' on finding the one, he said: 'That said ladies, if there's any degree of interest out there at all, I'm on Insta.' 

When asked if he's ever tried dating apps, he added: 'You can't do it because you look like an idiot. There's no point, but that's the way these days.' 

The comic cheekily added: 'You can't even get a sh*g at work.

'There's a bonk ban, but I reckon 80 per cent of people I know have found their significant partner or other at work.

'

He added: 'I've been really lucky in my life to have some great significant relationships and now is not that time, and I'm comfortable with that.'

Throughout his life, Mick has enjoyed a number of romances.

In the early 90s, he dated actress Sophie Lee for around six years.

In 2012, Mick welcomed his twins with partner Angie, but kept her identity private as she was not in the media. It's not known precisely how or when they broke up.

In March 2017, Mick began - however, the pair's romance ended in September the same year.

She had previously gushed over their relationship, telling The Herald Sun at the time that he was 'the most brilliant man' she'd ever met.
