In a curious move that has impressed and scratching our heads, it looks like the show’s writers found a way to make (Avery Kristen Pohl) the top villain again without having her having her memories back being the driving force.It’s a quirky but clever way of putting her in the crosshairs of those that love Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) when he’s on trial for aiding a kidnapping and possibly more as (Maurice Benard) will want to eliminate her to protect him.And all they had to do was have Spencer be as stupid as a ten turnip trucks.There’s a lot of potential with this storyline that can salvage it, and we’re curious what the writers have in mind.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Aiding a kidnapping

Turning someone into a villain or heel is pretty simple, depending on how fast the writers want it done and if they want it to be something the character can come back from.In this case, Esme’s memory is back and we as the audience knows it, but Spencer running around telling everyone doesn’t seem like it’d work except on the core group that hates her, like Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).So, to make everyone turn on her the easiest way would be to put Spencer in danger, and since he lost his mind by letting Nikolas Cassadine (Adam huss) take Ace thinks it’s pretty easy to do.Esme’s been waffling thanks to Laura Collins (Genie Francis)’s influence, but this will push her into full vindictive Esme mode and she’ll call the police on Spencer.He’ll face aiding a kidnapping and aiding a fugitive for not turning Nikolas over and probably a few more to cover all the bases.The best part, Laura should be on Esme’s side despite trying to calm the situation, and that would set up plenty of angst for her going forward as well.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Sonny’s target

Since Esme will be looking to destroy Spencer, this would catch Sonny’s attention, and since he wanted to eliminate her before when she was causing all the trouble with Trina.If he does this, it’ll cement her as the villain for many while other fans will lament that she’s doing the right thing after having her baby taken.By and Spencer wallowing, it could turn the tide against her in many eyes and things can only get more interesting from there as everyone will want to see justice done for everything she’s done since arriving in Port Charles.And all without her having her memories back becoming public knowledge.How do you think Esme’s storyline will unfold?
