England international prop Will Stuart has pledged his future to Bath after putting pen to paper on a contract extension with the Premiership club until the summer of 2026.
Stuart, who has won 33 caps for his country and was part of the Red Rose squad that sealed a third-place finish at the 2023 World Cup, is clearly happy in the West Country.
His current contract at Bath was set to expire at the end of this campaign, but fears of an exit have now been put to bed with the tighthead prop agreeing to a two-year deal.
“I’m really happy to be committing my future to the club for the next two years,” he said.
“ has become my home, and being surrounded by such a brilliant group of players, coaches, and support staff is what makes being here so special.
“We are at a stage where I believe the best is yet to come, and that’s something I want to be a part of.”
joined Bath from Wasps in 2019 and has gone on to play 71 games for the side, impressing in the number three shirt at the Recreation Ground.
Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan was thrilled to secure the future of the England prop forward and believes the front-row stocks are maturing nicely at the moment.
“We are blessed to have brilliant tightheads at Bath Rugby,” he said.
“I am so glad ‘Stuey’ will be staying at Bath. He is an international prop, and he’s formed such a good combination inside and outside of him.
“We are developing world-class props here at Bath Rugby, and Will is a big part of our future.”
Stuart was recently included in ‘s squad for the Six Nations alongside fellow tighthead props Dan Cole and Joe Heyes, with Bristol Bears’ Kyle Sinckler missing out.
England kick off their Championship away to Italy before a home clash with Wales and trip to Scotland follows. They then play host to Ireland before ending away to France.
