From interrupting ’s VMA winner’s speech to proclaiming his love for his estranged wife , has had his fair share of controversies over the years.

And the 46-year-old artist, one of America’s most successful rappers, has grabbed the headlines again this week for showing off his new titanium teeth.

The controversial A-lister had $850,000 (£670,000) dentures installed in his latest publicity-seeking move, which is claimed to have been ‘more expensive than diamonds’.

And although West’s fans branded his new look a ‘terrible decision’ on social media, his attention-grabbing stunt is mild compared to his previous outbursts.

At the time a Swift insider said she was ‘furious’ about the video. In response, West described the video as a ‘comment on fame’.

Making headlines again in 2016, the rapper begged Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg via X to invest $1billion into his ‘ideas’ – but it was later revealed he asked because he was $53million in debt.

Later that year, he was hospitalised for a psychiatric emergency – causing him to cancel the rest of his tour.

The rapper filed nine separate trademark applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office on January 11 under the phrase: ‘I MISS YOU WHEN I WAKE UP BEFORE YOU.’

He reportedly lives in an apartment with Bianca with no security after moving out of his £47million Malibu mansion.

Now enjoying the simpler life, he also no longer has a chef or a nanny for his kids.
