The Traitors Zack Davies awkwardly failed at Thursday's challenge after embarrassingly boasting he was an excellent fit for the task.

The parliamentary affairs advisor, 27, appeared to be in good spirits when the show's host, , announced that the key to winning as much money as possible during the quest was to have a good aim with archery.

Zack and the team of faithfuls and traitors were tasked with using a bow and arrow to shoot through paned glass windows to avoid having money removed from the prize pot.

They started the challenge with a grand total of £7,000 and for every shot they missed, £100 was removed from the pot.

Every window had the name of a player printed on the front, and each time they broke a window, that person would be removed from having a chance of getting a shield.

The person whose name is on the last window pane was granted the shield - on Thursday, Mollie was the only one left and was guaranteed to survive the night.

But as the team of faithfuls and traitors joined together to add money into their cash pot, Zack put himself forward when Claudia asked who wanted to go first.

Very confidently, Zack bent over the church's pews and stated: 'I'm a good cross bower; I back myself' as he nodded his head in confidence.

Despite talking a big game, the faithful player could not back it up as he hoped to make quick work of the team's first target but embarrassingly missed.

As the arrow dropped to the floor without hitting its intended target, his fellow teammates fell silent as they tried to make light of losing £100.

Zack tried to play off his failed attempt by jokingly trying to justify the awkward act and blame the equipment.

He said: 'It was so hard. There was no velocity in it at all'

After being mocked by Paul for his arrogance, Zack then spat back: 'It's a ballista, not a crossbow'.

Despite him blaming the kit, his other teammates went on to break the window panels and secure £3,600.

Thursday's show also saw traitor Paul be banished from the popular show after a heated round table discussion.

Leading the kill was his fellow traitor, Harry, who was determined to remove the business manager from the show as his game tactics started to crack.

And while Paul was very popular among the group, viewers were happy to see the back off him after they dubbed him a snake for double-.

The show also saw Jaz finally get the recognition he deserves after he had called Paul out from the start.

But because Harry led the feisty mob that sent Paul packing, he has now been hailed as a fan favourite and somewhat of a celebrity among the group.

Similar to Wednesday's episode, the faithful could not get a good night's sleep after their astounding victory as one of them awaits their impending doom.
