Gal Gadot is fast becoming one of the most wanted actresses in Hollywood. After her remarkable performances in the world of DC Universe, Gadot has been tapped into numerous big-budget projects including the anticipated . While she is doing exceptionally well career-wise, the actress once had to face a life-altering situation while portraying Wonder Woman.
The incident arose when she clashed with Hollywood’s one of the most controversial figures of recent times, Joss Whedon. After denying to shoot an alleged steamy scene and facing several other issues from Whedon, Gadot was allegedly told her career would be very miserable if she refused his requests.

The allegedly problematic director had taken over the reins of the movie from , who had reportedly left the movie after his daughter’s tragic death.
Hired by Warner Bros. for rewriting and reshooting multiple parts of the Snyderverse film, he was accused by several stars of being problematic and threatening, including and Gal Gadot (via and ).
Although there were several issues between Gadot and Whedon, the feud primarily arose when the filmmaker allegedly forced the actress to film a se*ualized-comedy scene which made her uncomfortable. While Gadot refused and the scene was ultimately shot using a body double, Whedon made threatening remarks about the actress’s career (via Israeli News Outlet ).
“He kind of threatened my career and said if I did something, he would make my career miserable.
I handled it on the spot.”
Her comments were apparently in line with what her co-star Fisher had claimed regarding Whedon’s unprofessional behavior on set. Although she was not present when the incident occurred between Fisher and Whedon, Gadot was glad for her co-star and applauded him for speaking up as well (via ).

Filming a steamy comedy scene wasn’t the only reason why Joss Whedon and Gal Gadot clashed on set.
Apparently, as per The Hollywood Reporter, there were other issues particularly involving the Marvel director’s approach to Gadot’s fan-favorite character, Wonder Woman.
“[There were] issues about her character being more aggressive than her character in Wonder Woman. She wanted to make the character flow from one movie to the next.”
When Gadot refused to film certain lines, he allegedly threatened her career. An eyewitness on set even stated,
“Joss was bragging that he’s had it out with Gal. He told her he’s the writer and she’s going to shut up and say the lines and he can make her look incredibly stupid in this movie.
”
While Gadot was glad Warner Bros. handled it, Whedon claimed he never had threatened anyone and that she just had misunderstood her for However, the incredible actress clamped back that she perfectly understood everything and vowed never to work with him again (via ).
