She had a lot of opportunities to tell the truth and admit her faults early, but she tried to hide it.All of her maneuvers didn’t end up helping her and the truth is finally out. has always had a problem with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). They have done things to hurt each other and they don’t trust each other.Nina has been trying to build a relationship with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), her newly discovered daughter. Carly kept that information from Nina, showing her vindictive nature.In turn, Nina kept information from Carly about being alive. Basically, the two women are always at odds. They don’t like or trust each other.Recently, Nina has been trying to mend bridges with Carly but Carly isn’t having any of it. Nina may be doing so though because she feels so guilty about her decision to give a tip to the SEC.Nina was fairly rash in her decision to call in a tip to the SEC that Carly Spencer and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) were involved with insider trading. She seemed to regret it soon after, particularly since Drew is the one who got punished.He was sent to Pentonville and got beaten within an inch of his life. Even though she regretted it, she didn’t come clean. She tried to keep her actions a secret.

Even though various people learned of Nina’s actions, everyone kept it a secret. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) knew about it but tripped and smashed his head before he could reveal it. (Chad Duell) found out but kept it a secret to protect his wife Willow and keep the family peace. He did use his knowledge to try to blackmail Nina.Everyone who knows has been keeping it from Sonny. They see how happy he is being married to Nina and they protect her secret. But then found out and just to tell Sonny that his family was keeping something from him.Sonny is furious and demands that Michael tell him who it was. Michael ends up caving to the pressure and tells Sonny  as Nina walks in with Willow in tow. This is the worst possible scenario for Nina.These are the two relationships she cares most about and was most fearful to lose. She loves Sonny and Willow and wanted to protect them from learning of her temporary vengefulness that cost Drew so much.Nina had so many chances to tell the truth and to get it all out in the open. Instead, she kept trying to keep it away from the ones she loved. Now it has all come into the open, right in front of Sonny and Willow.What will she do to try to recover from this?
