Nina claimed she purchased the hotel with the intent of selling it back to her.Carly didn’t want anything from Nina, so Nina decided to keep the hotel. She could have sold it back to (Lisa LoCicero), but her goal was not to return it.Some fans think that Nina was planning on giving Carly back the hotel as a gesture. To play the “martyr” and do something for Carly so that everyone would forgive her and forget that she hid Sonny in Nixon Falls for six months while his family believed he was dead.The true story is that the hotel back to Carly after (Chad Duell) found out about what Nina did to get revenge on Carly. He made Nina go to Carly with that offer. She never would have done it otherwise.So, one could say that “turnabout is fair play.” Good guy Drew Cain is always at Carly’s side, ready to help her out with anything.
